A 15th-century mansion keeping the material culture of an entire province.

The story

A 15th-century mansion, today it is the Interpretation Centre of the Traditional Culture of the Province of Guadalajara. Across some 700 m² —400 of them exhibition space— it gathers over 600 ethnographic pieces.

Its permanent exhibition is arranged in eight areas: identity; the natural environment and architecture; the annual cycle, seasons, festivals and rites; beliefs and spirituality; man and woman and the cycle of life; everyday life and the home; popular arts and communication; and economic activity, crafts, techniques and knowledge. It also hosts temporary exhibitions.
