Church of San Juan
The village's most monumental church, overlooking the Plaza del Trigo.
Set in the Plaza del Trigo, San Juan is the most monumental church of Atienza. It was built in the 16th century, in Renaissance style, over the remains of an earlier Romanesque temple.
It is the village's working parish and the centre of the Holy Week celebrations. Each year it hosts concerts around its Baroque organ and a nativity scene depicting Atienza itself.
